How can I mark a photo in 'All Photos' once it has also been filed in an album

I transfer downloaded photos from 'All Photos' into various Albums. How can I then mark photos still obviously in All Photos to indicate that they have been transferred, so I don't have to keep rechecking I have done so?

You cannot mark a photo visibly, other than adding keywords or favorite tags, or similar.

I would create my own All Photos album as a smart album, that excludes all photos already in albums:

  • File > New Smart album
  • Set the smart rule to Album is not Any.

This smart album will only be showing photos that have not been added to standard albums and will update dynamically, as you add photos to your albums.
